Traders forecast which submissions are likely to be selected. Reviewers see the prices as a second signal; the selection stays theirs.
A reviewer reading forty submissions cannot price them all. The market aggregates what many readers already think, and shows it as a ranked distribution — useful for spotting a submission the panel might otherwise skim past.
It is not a vote and it does not bind the panel. A high price on a weak submission is a signal that the market is wrong, not a reason to pick it.
